        In the continued quest of the Brothers to provide quality education to all Nigerians irrespective of religion, tribe or location, the institute got the support of the Catholic Diocese of Idda in Kogi State to establish a school. The result of this effort was the establishment of Sacred Heart Marist College (SHMC), Ejule in 2003. The school was among other things founded to provide quality education to the teaming youth whose parents' predominant occupation is farming. It is a co-educational institution to provide support for the surrounding communities in the area of self realization.

Structure: The school is structured to provide conventional education as well as empower the youth towards actualizing their dreams either as farmers or other professionals with a view to achieving sustainable development for the Ejule and Kogi people in particular and the nation at large. It also provides an avenue for cultural integration for students of Ejule and Kogi origin who are resident outside the State without compromising quality.
